Insurance Coverage for Acupuncture
INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR ACUPUNCTURE
Many insurance carriers now cover acupuncture. Before scheduling an appointment please call your insurance carrier to see if they cover acupuncture and what restrictions may apply and what the co-pay may be.
Peter Van Arsdale is currently a contracted provider for many insurance carriers and may be listed in your member booklet.
If you have suffered a work related injury, acupuncture is now covered by Worker's Compensation. You may need a referral from your treating physician.
If you have suffered an injury in an automobile accident medical care may be covered as Personal Injury under your policy. Peter Van Arsdale does accept Personal Injury cases.
